Lost Figures

Original artwork dimensions: 6.5 in x 10 in

Monoprints speak of lost memories. In the moment that the plate touches the paper, a (mis)transfer is made. In the same way silence is magnified between each ring in an unanswered call, absent figures surface by the lack of ink in a print. This material absence nevertheless speaks of something concrete, a past that shall not be forgotten.
